The Council’s ambitious plans for a state-of-the-art Wellbeing Hub and new Lochies School have taken a huge step forward.
The development was granted planning permission at a meeting of the Council’s Planning Committee earlier today.
The permission was given subject to a number of conditions being met.
The Wellbeing Hub will include various spaces for leisure and sport, including swimming pools, alongside a range of indoor and outdoor spaces for people to spend time, socialise, be active try new things and develop existing skills.
The new Lochies School will provide state of the art facilities for learners with severe and complex needs. Both are to be built at The Pavilions in Alloa West.
The project is being managed for Clackmannanshire Council by hub East Central Scotland with Robertson as the main contractor, JM Architects, Blyth & Blyth civil and structural engineers and BakerHicks mechanical and electrical engineers.
