Clackmannan Early Learning and Childcare Centre has been praised in a newly published Care Inspectorate Report.
The ELC, which is within Clackmannan Primary School, was visited by the inspection team on 23 January 2023.
The inspectors evaluated three key areas as ‘good’. These were:

The inspection team also found that the children benefitted from a well-designed nursery environment that was furnished to a high standard.
The nursery has quiet spaces which provide calm safe and peaceful places for children.
The inspectors said the staff were warm, responsive and caring in their approach and were passionate about their roles.
Inspectors also stated that staff members were committed to the children and families in the service.
Communication with families was positive, with some families describing the nursery like an extended family.
The inspection found that almost all staff had leadership roles and worked well together to share responsibilities and develop their areas across the nursery.
