Redwell and Tillicoultry ELCs have both been praised by the Care Inspectorate following recent unannounced inspections.
The inspections took place in August and the inspection reports have now been published.
The Care Inspectorate evaluated the services based on key areas that are vital to the support and wellbeing of children. Inspectors also spoke to children, parents and staff.
Redwell ELC received Grade 5 ratings (Very Good) for:

The inspection report noted children benefitted from inviting and engaging environments indoors and outdoors, leading their own play, staff respected children's rights and dignity, staff worked well as a team and children experienced continuity of care and support as staff understood children's needs.
Tillicoultry ELC received Grade 4 ratings (Good) for:
The inspection report noted that staff interacted with children in kind, caring and supportive ways, management team had a clear vision for the development of the service and children benefited from a well organised environment where a range of activities supported their learning and development.
